学院概况Brief Introduction

Jiangsu College of Tourism is a full-time public general college, located in Yangzhou (a famous historical and cultural city in China), Jiangsu. Our college has three campuses, of which Jiu Longhu campus covers an area of 845 mu, Yang zijin Campus covers an area of 320 mu, and Slender West Lake campus covers an area of 11 mu. The Jiu Longhu campus is located in the center of Yangzhou Lingang New Town, with Gaomin Temple in the north, Yangzi River in the south, ancient canal in the west, and Fengqi Lake in the east. It’s built by the rule of 5A scenic area standard and gathers the essence of Yangzhou gardens, the campus is the park, the building is the scenic spot, and the atmosphere of learning is immersed by the environment, which embodies the ideal place for learning. The predecessor of the college was the Yangzhou Culinary School founded in 1959. After several stages of development, it was upgraded to Jiangsu College of Tourism in 2017.

江苏旅游职业学院是一所省属公办全日制专科高校。学院坐落于中国历史文化名城——扬州。学院有三个校区，其中九龙湖校区占地845亩、扬子津校区占地320亩、瘦西湖校区占地11亩。九龙湖校区地处扬州临港新城中心地带，北望高旻寺、南眺扬子江、西依古运河、东临凤栖湖，按5A景区标准建设，集萃扬州园林精华，校园即公园、建筑即景点、情境即学境，是理想的求学圣地。学院前身为1959年创建的扬州市烹饪学校，历经多个发展阶段，于2017年升格为江苏旅游职业学院。

There are 36 majors closely related to tourism, including tourism management, hotel management and digital operation, cooking and nutrition, airborne services etc. The experimental training conditions are first-class in China, which repeatedly been held for large-scale competitions at the municipal, provincial and national levels.

江苏旅游职业学院是一所特色鲜明的旅游类高职院校，现有全日制高职在校生13000余人，学院有内设机构31个，含有烹饪科技学院、旅游管理学院、工艺美术学院、国际商务学院、经济管理学院、信息工程学院、马克思主义学院、体育部、基础部等9个二级院（部），开设了旅游管理、酒店管理与数字化运营、烹饪工艺与营养、空乘等36个与旅游业密切相关的专业，实验实训条件国内一流，多次承担市级、省级、国家级大型比赛。

At present, our school has 758 staff members, 682 full-time teachers, 182 teachers with senior titles or above, and 438 teachers with both skills and expertise.

学院文化 Culture of college

The college insists on “cultural education” and strives to create” vocational education with local characteristics” campus culture. The college has 2 provincial student associations and more than 60 student associations at school. Students won more than 20 medals in provincial innovation and entrepreneurship contests. Students graduate with high comprehensive quality, and strong technical skills, favored by employers. The employment rate has been stable at more than 98%, with graduates throughout the country and more than 40 countries and regions abroad.

The college is now the director unit of the Executive Committee of China-ASEAN “Gem King Cup” International Technology Competition, the director unit of the seventh Council of Chinese Cuisine Association, and the chairperson of the Catering Special Committee of Jiangsu Culture and Tourism Steering Committee. 一、如何申请  How to Apply

（一）招生条件  Admission Requirement

1.所有申请学生须年满18周岁，不超过25周岁。申请者须持有高中毕业或同等学历。申请3年专科学历教育英语授课专业的学生需提供英语学习良好及以上证明或成绩单。

All applicants must be at least 18 years old and not more than 25 years old. The Applicants hold a high school diploma or equivalent. The applicants for 3-year junior college program taught in English should provide proof of good English learning or transcripts.

2.来华留学生应当对华友好，熟悉中国历史、地理、社会、经济等中国国情和文化基本知识，了解中国政治制度和外交政策，理解中国社会主流价值观和公共道德观念，形成良好的法治观念和道德意识；

Applicants should be friendly to China, familiar with Chinese history, geography, society, economy, China’s National Conditions and basic knowledge of Chinese culture

Understand China’s political system and foreign policy, the mainstream values and public morality in China, and form a good sense of legal concept and moral consciousness

3.来华留学生应具备独立生活与学习的能力，有良好的自律能力和人际交往能力，身体健康；

Applicants should have good self-discipline and interpersonal skills for independent living and studying, being good health.

4.来华留学生的家庭经济能力能支持其来华期间的、学习、生活、交通等费用。

The financial capacity of the families of international students studying in China can support their expenses for studying, living, transportation, and other expenses during their stay in China

（二）申请流程  Application Procedure

1.申请人需将以下材料的电子文本发送至电子邮箱：jslygjc@jstc.edu.cn，申请材料一经提交将不予退还，申请材料如缺失或不符合要求，申请信息将无法录入全国来华留学生管理系统，由此造成的无法入学由申请人自行承担，材料清单如下：

（1）填写江苏旅游职业学院来华留学生入学申请表

（2）申请人必须提供清晰免冠电子证件照片，并以申请者本人护照号命名，照片要求：彩色标准证件照，大小不超200kb，支持*.jpg,*.jpeg,*.png为后缀的图片，像素大于295*413

（3）有效期内的护照副本、2张护照照片

（4）本人高中毕业证书副本或学校证明

（5）汉语（HSK）四级或以上证书/英语学习证明或成绩单以及其他奖学证书

（6）提交《外国人体格检查表》，有效期为6个月。申请人应严格按照《外国人体格检查表》中要求的项目进行检查，缺项、未贴有本人照片或照片上未盖骑缝章、无医生和医院签字盖章、无检查日期的《外国人体格检查表》无效。

（7）学校将根据各专业报名情况，安排线上入学测试或线上面试，具体时间等待通知，没有参加面试或无面试记录（成绩），学校将不予录取。

（8）申请人需对申请材料的真实性、完整性负责，如发现申请材料中出现弄虚作假、信息缺失等违规事项，学校将不予录取，也不退还申请材料。

（9）申请截止日期：2024年7月5日，逾期提交的申请材料将不再受理。

Applicants should submit his/her documents to admission officers by whom all the documents will be submitted to the E-mail address: jslygjc@jstc.edu.cn. Once the application materials are submitted, they will not be refunded.

If the following application materials are missing or do not meet the requirements, the application information will not be able to be entered into the China international students’ information system. Any resulting inability to enroll will be borne by the applicant themselves. Documents required include:

(1) Fill in Application Form for International Students to study at Jiangsu College of Tourism;

(2) The applicant must provide clear electronic identification photos and name them after the applicant’s passport number. Photo requirements: color standard certificate photos, the size is not more than 200kb, support *.jpg,*.jpeg,*.png suffix pictures, pixels greater than 295*413

(3) Electronic copies of passport copy within the valid period, two passport photos;

(4) Electronic copies of graduation certificate of high school or study or proof of study issued by school;

(5) Electronic copies of HSK Level 4 certificate or above, English study certificate or transcripts and other awarding certificates if necessary.

(6) Submit the Foreigner Medical Examination Form, which is valid for 6 months. Applicants should strictly follow the requirements of the “Foreigner Physical Examination Form”. The applicant should strictly follow the items required in the Foreigner Physical Examination Form for examination. The Foreigner Physical Examination Form is invalid if there are missing items, no photos of the applicant are affixed, or there is no riding seal on the photos, no doctor or hospital signature or seal, and no examination date.

(7) Our college will arrange the online admission test or online interview according to the enrollment situation of each major. The specific time is waiting for the notice of our college. Our college will not accept the student who does not attend the online admission test or has no interview records (grades).

(8) The applicant is responsible for the authenticity and completeness of the application materials. If any violations such as falsification or missing information are found in the application materials, our college will not accept them and will not return the application materials.

(9) Application deadline: July 5, 2024. Late submitted application materials will no longer be accepted.

2. 全国来华留学生信息系统将核实申请人申请材料，核实无误后，将自动通过电子邮件发送JW202表，学校将出具正式的《入学通知书》，并告知您具体到达中国的日期。申请人持上述文件至中国驻外签证机构办理“X”签证。

When your application materials have been verified, the applicants will get JW202 form from China international students’ information system by email automatically, and then our college will present the letter of admission and inform the applicants of the specific date of arrival in China. 

 With JW202 form and letter of admission of our college, the applicant can apply student visa (X) to Embassy of People’s Republic of China.

3.新生应按入学通知书规定的时间持录取通知书和外国留学人员来华签证申请表（JW202表纸质档或者电子档均可）准时入学。无故逾期两周不到校报道者将自动失去入学资格处理。入学后，由学校组织进行身体检查，体检结果合格者，方能正式获得入学资格。

Successful applicants should bring letter of admission and their JW202 form (JW202 form can be in paper or electronic format) form to our college. Anyone who fail to register at our college for two weeks without any reason will automatically lose their admission qualification. Only those who pass the physical examination result can officially obtain the admission qualification.

二、学习指南  Study Guide

（一）学制学期  System &Term

1.学  制：学历生3年专科（英语授课/汉语授课），2学期/学年，

2.春学期：3月-6月（7-8月为暑假）

3.秋学期：9月-12月（1-2月为寒假）

1. Hotel management and Digital operation

酒店管理与数字化运营

The Hotel Management major was applied for in 2017. Our profession focuses on cultivating high-quality skilled talents with comprehensive development in morality, intelligence, physical fitness, aesthetics, and labor, who are welcomed by modern tourism service enterprises such as international chain hotels, well-known domestic hotel management groups, boutique hotels, and specialty catering groups. We are proficient in operation, strong service, good communication, can train, design, and understand management. Through professional training, we have grown into middle-level and grassroots managers within 3-5 years. Currently, there are over 230 students enrolled in this major. Students actively participate in various competitions and win multiple awards: they have won 1 first prize, 5 second prizes, and several third prizes in the Jiangsu Skills Competition; Participated in the China UK International Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition and won the Bronze Award in the UK region, the Silver Award in the East China region, and the Second Prize in the China region.

There are currently 15 professional full-time teachers, meeting the requirement of a teacher-student ratio of 1:25. Among them, there are 11 teachers with master's degrees or above, accounting for 73.5% of the total number of teachers; 6 people hold senior professional titles, 6 lecturers, and 3 people hold junior professional titles. The number of teachers with senior professional titles accounts for 40%. The acquisition rate of intermediate and senior professional qualifications for professional full-time teachers is 80%, with 5 part-time teachers, accounting for 33.3% of the total number of teachers, including 4 technicians or above, accounting for 80% of part-time teachers. The age structure of the entire teaching staff is distributed in an olive shaped pattern, with most teachers holding intermediate or senior professional titles around the age of 35. These teachers have rich teaching experience, are young and strong, and have won multiple awards. In 2022, they won the first prize in the "Sailing Cup" Jiangsu Province Vocational College New Teacher Teaching Competition and the second prize in the Teaching Ability Competition. In addition, in order to broaden the horizons of students and understand the development status of the industry, multiple knowledgeable, experienced and experienced off campus entrepreneurs have been invited as guest professors to regularly hold professional lectures for students on schedule.

酒店管理专业是2017年申报的一个专业。专业专注于培养为国际联号饭店、国内著名酒店管理集团、精品酒店、特色餐饮集团等现代旅游服务企业所欢迎的德、智、体、美、劳全面发展的，熟操作、强服务、善沟通，会培训、能设计、懂管理的高素质技能型人才，并通过职业磨练在3-5年的时间内成长为中基层管理者。目前，本专业现有在校学生230多人。学生积极参加各类大赛获得多项大奖：参加江苏技能大赛共获得一等奖1个，二等奖5个，三等奖若干；参加中英国际青年创新创业大赛获得英国赛区铜奖，华东赛区银奖，中国赛区二等奖。

现有专业专任教师15人，满足师生比为1:25的要求。其中硕士以上学位教师11人，占教师总数73.5%;高级职称6人，讲师6人，初级职称3人，高级职称教师数占比40%。专业专任教师中、高级职业资格获取率80%，兼职教师5人，占教师总数33.3%，其中技师以上4人，占兼职教师的80%。整个师资队伍年龄结构呈橄榄型结构分布，具有中、高级职称的教师年龄大多数都在35岁左右。这些教师教学经验丰富，年富力强，获得多项奖项：2022年获得“启航杯”江苏省高职院校新教师教学竞赛一等奖、教学能力大赛二等奖等。此外，为了开阔学生的视野，了解行业发展状况，还聘请了多位学识广、资历深、有着丰富经验的校外企业家做客座教授，按计划定期来校为学生开设专业讲座。

2. Cooking Techniques and Nutrition

This major has a history of 60 years, and has a strong professional faculty. It is now a brand major of Jiangsu Province and a national Reform and development Demonstration school. We have training equipment worth 10 million yuan. We also have the most advanced, the most scientific, the most practical cooking training base. We pay attention to cultivate students to master modern cooking theory knowledge and operation skills, cultivate students with modern cooking concept, have engaged in cooking professional work needs of comprehensive ability, graduate employment fields are spread all over the world.

本专业具有六十年的办学历史,专业师资力量雄厚，现为江苏省品牌专业、国家改革发展示范校重点建设专业。专业拥有价值1000余万元实验实训设备，具有全国最先进、最科学、最实用的烹饪实训基地，注重培养学生掌握现代烹饪理论知识和操作技能，培养学生具有现代烹饪理念，具备从事烹饪专业岗位工作需要的综合能力，毕业生足迹遍及全球。

Course：Cooking Technology, Dish Making, Chinese food and health care, Food Carving, Cooking arts and crafts, Banquet Design and production, Cooking Raw Materials, Chinese Famous Dishes, Chinese Food Culture.

主要课程：烹调工艺学、菜肴制作、中医饮食保健学、食品雕刻、烹饪工艺美术、筵席设计与制作、烹饪原料学、中国名菜、饮食文化。

3. Arts and Crafts Design

工艺美术品设计

This major is mainly based on the development of the arts and crafts industry, based on regional characteristics and the construction of cultural and creative industries. Using the idea of “based on local intangible cultural heritage and building a new system for the inheritance of skills”, we focus on the integration and design of traditional crafts and cultural tourism product development. On the basis of inheriting traditional craftsmanship and protecting intangible cultural heritage, we cultivate people who are competent in crafts design and Comprehensive technical skills talents required for positions such as craftwork design, gemstone design and production, cultural and creative product development and design, jewelry design and making, and handicraft marketing management. It has the characteristics of blending tradition and modernity.

本专业主要依据工艺美术行业的发展，立足地域特色及文化创意产业建设。运用“立足地方非遗文化，构建技艺传承新体系”的思路，注重传统工艺与文旅产品开发融合设计，在继承传统的工艺技术和保护非物质文化遗产的基础上，培养能够胜任工艺品设计与制作、宝玉石设计与制作、文创产品开发与设计、珠宝首饰设计与制作、工艺品市场营销管理等岗位需求的复合型技术技能人才。具有传统与现代相互兼容、相互穿插的特点。

Course：Product Design, Digital Product Design, Basic Gemology, Jade Carving Design, Lacquer Art Design

    主要课程：产品风格设计、数字化产品设计、宝石学基础、玉雕设计、漆艺设计、文创产品设计、珠宝首饰设计。

4. Marketing

This major cultivates high-quality compound technical talents who will master the theory of marketing management and planning, have strong practical abilities of international marketing business and planning, and engage in marketing business and planning in Chinese and foreign industrial and commercial enterprises or related industries. 

本专业培养掌握市场营销管理与策划理论，具有较强国际市场营销业务与策划实际能力,在中外工商企业或相关行业从事营销业务及策划工作的高素质复合型技术技能人才。

Course: Economics, Management, International Marketing International Consumer Behavior, Marketing Planning, Network Marketing.

主要课程：经济学、管理学、国际市场营销、国际消费行为、营销策划、网络营销。

5. Computer network technology

The major of computer network technology is to train technicians for computer network installation, testing, maintenance, management and application.

计算机网络技术专业主要培养计算机网络安装、测试、维护、管理和应用技术人员。

Course：Network wiring technology, routing and switching technology, Linux network service configuration, windows network operating system, network management and security technology, C program design, website design and development.

主要课程：网络综合布线技术、路由交换技术、Linux网络服务配置、Windows网络操作系统、网络管理与安全技术、C程序设计、网站设计与开发。

6. Financial Services and Management

Adapt to the development trend of the financial industry in the digital economy era, cultivate interdisciplinary talents in the field of information technology and finance, and lead the cultivation of financial technology talents. 注：

1.正式录取者可申请全额奖学金，符合条件者，可获奖学金的金额为：每生每年13500元人民币；

Official Admittees can apply for Full Scholarship. Those who meet the conditions can receive a scholarship of RMB 13500 per student per year;

2. 如因个人原因退学、转学，须退还已享受的全部奖学金资助费用；

If you drop out or transfer due to personal reasons, you must refund all the scholarship funding you have already received

（二）住宿及生活提示 Accommodation and living tips

   1.住宿条件 Accommodation

   4-5人合住一套公寓，设备齐全的淋浴和卫生设施；配用床和床具、书桌和衣柜；独立的电器如空调、热水器；互联网。

   4-5 students will share one apartment, well-equipped with facilities for showering and toilet; well-furnished with bed and bedclothes, study desk, wardrobe; self-contained electrical appliances such as air conditioner, water heater, washing machine, and internet.

  2.餐饮Canteen

  学校食堂售卖一日三餐，餐饮费约1000元/月。生活费丰俭各异。

  Campus canteens sell three meals a day, the cost is about 1000 CNY/month. Cost of living varies with each individual.
